Day 4

This is day 4 and I'm in Livingston, Montana. Arrived here at 430p, amid high winds (blew me constantly into the passing lane on Interstate 90) and rain. The wind started in WY and a little bit of the rain. But the real rain came in the last 100 miles +/-. I was soaked to the bone. Gotta get some new Frogg Toggs. I took Gretchen's because they haven't been worn much. But they too leak. I'm getting on the internet, ordering a new set, thru Frogg Togg, and having them sent to Bremerton, WA for the ride back. OK, enof of that.

As I said, I camped out in Sturgis. Set the alarm for 6a, SUNRISE. Yes, I caught it as it broke the horizon again... Beautiful! On road again by 730a. It was a bit windy, but no sweat. The ride was good. The bike has been performing superb. Running at 60-65. Today the end trip mileage is 1433. That is 482 miles today. You're right, it doesn't add up. There was 7 miles around Sturgis.I discounted those miles.

Just looked outside the window, sky is clear. Hopefully it will remain so.

I said Sturgis was depressing. Well, I took 2 pics. Recognize them Pat? On Bike Week, everything is open & hoppin'. These places are CLOSED, (stop lights are gone & there is a barricade) and one for sale
